Bachmann electronic presents a new solution for drive technology: With the 'M100 Motion', Bachmann addresses the growing demands in mechanical engineering – from individual customer requests to specific regulations. The package enables the quick implementation of plant-specific motion sequences as well as their diagnosis and monitoring.
The new package for the M100 series supports control-guided positioning of individual axes. In addition, it allows the synchronized operation of multiple drives via an electronic gearbox in various operating modes. Optimized motion profiles ensure high production cycles while preserving the mechanical components.
The functionalities according to PLCopen Motion Control Part 1 (V2.0) are available to users as libraries for IEC 61131-3 and C and C++. Furthermore, they are directly integrated into the overarching process program. M100 Motion supports EtherCAT fieldbus drives according to IEC 61800 and profile type 1 / CiA402 as well as drives with analog interfaces.
The M100 Motion Engineering Tool allows easy integration of drives from any manufacturer.
With the intuitive tool, the axes of the motion system can be configured and parameterized. Homing procedures and motion profiles can also be defined and executed.
Bachmann is already planning the continuous development of motion functions. For complex motion sequences, curve disc and multi-axis CNC functions are expected to follow soon.
