OHL Gutermuth Industrial Valves GmbH sets the course for further international growth. In China, the specialist for industrial valves has established two companies: a sales company in Beijing and a production company in Tianjin. The official opening of the production site is yet to come. With the new companies, the company responds to increasing demand and simultaneously creates the conditions for more competitive prices, shorter delivery times, and additional capacities.
The focus is on a new, economically optimized and standardized series of triple eccentric shut-off and control valves. It is designed for clearly defined, less critical applications and specifically complements the existing high-performance solutions from OHL Gutermuth. The established KX-Safeflex series is designed for high pressures, extreme temperatures, and dynamic loads. The new product line transfers proven OHL technology to applications where standardized specifications and an attractive price-performance ratio are crucial.
The key is the demand-oriented design: Not every industrial task requires the technical reserves of a custom-configured high-performance valve.
For clearly defined operating conditions, OHL Gutermuth will soon offer a solution that balances functionality, availability, and economy. Operators and plant builders can thus align their valve selection more closely with the actual application without sacrificing the experience and technical support from OHL Gutermuth.
The product range includes nominal diameters from DN 50 to DN 600 as well as pressure classes from Class 150 to Class 600. The valves are designed for temperatures up to 400 °C and are offered in carbon steel (CS) and stainless steel (SS). Depending on the design, leakage classes V to VI are possible. In addition to triple eccentric valves, other valves and assemblies are also to be manufactured at the new location.
The production in Tianjin covers essential process steps: from machining and assembly to quality control, pressure and leak testing, as well as storage and shipping. This allows OHL Gutermuth to supply customers in target markets more quickly and directly. Through the additional sales company in Beijing, OHL Gutermuth can also provide direct support to customers on-site and take on an expanded range of service tasks. Initially, China and the rest of Asia are being targeted. Initial orders for the new product line are already in place.
For customers, the new series offers several advantages: a lower price, shorter delivery times, quick availability, standardized designs, and proven OHL technology. Strategically, the Chinese production strengthens OHL Gutermuth's market position in Asia, expands the existing portfolio, and increases proximity to international customers.
