The demands on the sheet metal processing industry are continuously increasing. Higher quality standards, rising cost pressure, shorter delivery times, and the ongoing shortage of skilled workers pose significant challenges for companies. At the same time, customers expect more flexibility, transparency, and cost-effectiveness.

Connected processes become a competitive factor

In this context, automation is gaining further importance. It's no longer just about automating individual machines. Rather, the intelligent interplay of machines, software, material flow, and data across the entire value chain is crucial. This is precisely where Bystronic comes in.
At EuroBLECH 2026, the company will demonstrate how intelligent automation and seamlessly connected processes unlock new potential in sheet metal processing. The focus is on solutions that increase productivity, flexibility, and transparency throughout the entire production process, helping companies get more out of their existing resources.

Solutions instead of individual machines

Bystronic will not present isolated technologies at EuroBLECH, but rather connected production solutions for the industry's most pressing challenges. The trade fair booth illustrates how individual process steps can be intelligently connected to optimize material flows, reduce manual interventions, and sustainably increase productivity.

Fully automated cutting cell: More parts. Less effort.

In the area of laser cutting, Bystronic showcases a fully integrated cutting cell that automates the entire process from raw material to sorted parts output. The solution combines the ByCut 3015 laser cutting system with 20 kW, the ByTrans Modular loading and unloading system, the BySort sorting system, and the ByTower Cross storage tower into a seamless production environment.

Thanks to the perfectly coordinated interplay of all components, materials are automatically ready, sheets are autonomously loaded and unloaded, and finished parts are immediately sorted and prepared for subsequent processes. This reduces downtime, increases machine availability, and creates the conditions for economical, low-labor production.

The modular architecture allows for gradual expansion according to individual production requirements. All components are controlled via a common user interface and are fully integrated into the Bystronic software ecosystem.
