Bettina Steingruber will become Managing Director of TRUMPF Maschinen Austria GmbH & Co. KG on July 1, 2026. The company is the global competence center of the TRUMPF Group for bending technology.
Bettina Steingruber began her career at TRUMPF in 2006 at the company's headquarters in Ditzingen in controlling. From 2015 to 2022, she led the Finance & Controlling department in Austria. Subsequently, she managed the finance department of TRUMPF USA in Farmington from 2022 to 2025. Since September 2025, she has been responsible for global agile management in the Machine Tools division in Ditzingen.
Thilo Preß, who has been managing TRUMPF Austria since 2021, will move to the headquarters in Ditzingen on July 1. He will be the Managing Director of Sales and Services there and will be responsible for global sales as well as the global service offerings of the Machine Tools division.
The subsidiary in Pasching, Upper Austria, is the development and production center for bending technology for the entire TRUMPF Group. It includes the three locations Pasching, Teningen in Germany, and Lonigo in Italy. The company in Austria employs around 700 employees.
In Pasching, specialized bending machines and welding systems are developed and manufactured – core products that are used worldwide in manufacturing, for example in automotive production. The site is also a sales and service branch for TRUMPF products in the Austrian market.
