
The fiber laser markers of the new Y-Series have been specifically developed for demanding applications in metal and plastic processing – for example, in the automotive, medical, and electronics industries. With a market-leading focus area of up to 99mm, they enable markings on different height levels without repositioning the components. This reduces setup times and increases productivity.

Thanks to adjustable pulse widths and powers of 20 W and 60 W, the marking lasers are optimized for high-speed applications. The precise control of marking parameters ensures high-contrast, material-friendly markings with minimal heat input. An optionally integrable vision system and a full-field camera enable precise alignment, automatic adjustment, and real-time validation of the marking content. The intelligent marking field compensation ensures consistently high quality – regardless of the shape and position of the workpiece.
Additionally, FOBA will showcase the V.0042-uv at the fair, a UV laser that is characterized by high-contrast markings on sensitive products. The compact laser head is compatible with all machines in the M-Series and can be easily integrated into existing production lines. The laser will be presented in the compact laser marking machine M1000, a tabletop machine specifically developed for small series.
