Companies from all industrial sectors face the challenge of reliably fulfilling new and existing tasks in industrial component cleaning with improved cost efficiency. At the same time, resource consumption and CO2 footprint must be noticeably reduced. Innovations, developments, and know-how about trends in cleaning technology make an important contribution to this. This information will be provided by over 165 exhibitors and the supporting program of the 21st parts2clean from October 7 to 9, 2025, at the Stuttgart exhibition grounds (Germany).

New and modified products, innovative manufacturing technologies and materials, higher demands for cost efficiency, stability, and sustainability of processes, as well as the digitalization of manufacturing – the changes in many areas of industry also affect industrial parts and surface cleaning. 'With the most comprehensive and up-to-date offering of industrial cleaning technology worldwide, parts2clean provides solutions, impulses, and services for cost-efficient, process-safe, and resource-saving cleaning processes, from deburring and degreasing to high purity applications,' reports Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin, Project Director at Deutsche Messe AG. 'This makes it the world's most effective information and procurement platform for companies to adapt all areas of industrial parts and surface cleaning to the increased demands.' This statement is supported by the fact that over 165 exhibitors from 16 countries will present products and services at the 21st international leading trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning. This represents a growth of about ten percent compared to the 2023 event.

From new systems, processes, and media to AI for cleaning processes

'All technology and market leaders from various segments of cleaning technology are present. Many exhibitors will present their new and further developments for the first time to the international professional audience at parts2clean,' says Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin. This includes cleaning systems designed for specific cleaning and industry requirements, as well as new and optimized process technologies that ensure demand-oriented cleanliness levels with reduced energy consumption in short cycle times.

In addition, a new development for partial cleaning with water-based media is on the way. Innovative sensor and monitoring solutions – some utilizing AI – enable the control of cleaning, rinsing, and drying processes tailored to the contamination. New software solutions, including intelligent pump control and efficient energy management, also contribute to energy savings. New developments will also be presented for the continuous recording and documentation of relevant process parameters, especially required for very high cleanliness specifications. In the area of media, there is a focus on cleaning and dephosphating systems that achieve effective results at lower temperatures, thereby significantly reducing energy consumption. When it comes to dry cleaning, for example with CO2 snow, plasma, and laser, the respective providers will present new and further developed solutions. This also applies to exhibitors in the areas of media preparation, cleaning containers, and cleanliness control. Another trend that runs through many exhibition segments is the automation and integration of cleaning processes into production lines. New solutions and services for cleanliness-adapted manufacturing environments will also be showcased.

Spotless supporting program – first-class knowledge transfer

The technology- and industry-spanning presentations of the exhibitors are complemented by a demanding and exciting supporting program. 'It provides visitors with extensive information on current topics in component cleaning, various trends in high-tech and growth industries, and opportunities to improve sustainability, circular economy, and CO2 footprint,' adds Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin. One of the highlights of this year's supporting program will certainly be the awarding of the 4th FiT2clean Award, endowed with 10,000 euros, on the third day of the fair.

The special exhibition 'Process Chain Technical Cleanliness', organized together with the CEC (Cleaning Excellence Center), will showcase ways to implement the required component cleanliness sustainably and according to requirements, including accompanying quality assurance through innovative technologies, on all three days of the fair.
Among the highlight presentations of the bilingual p2c.Expertforum is the keynote speech by Anna Wilhelm, Consultant and Sustainability Auditor IDW at Rödl & Partner GmbH. The lecture will kick off the session on sustainability and circular economy, addressing the situation between regulation, responsibility, and opportunity. Other topics in this lecture block will deal with wastewater management, sustainability in the high purity process chain, and energy-optimized component drying.

Audience magnets are likely to be the presentations of high-ranking experts from industry, research, and science on the topic blocks 'Fundamentals of Industrial Cleaning Processes', 'Monitoring and Controlling Cleaning Processes', 'High Purity – Applications, Challenges, and Solutions', as well as 'Testing and Analyzing Cleaned Surfaces' and 'Combined or Extended Processes and Procedures'. All lectures will be simultaneously translated (German <> English). Participation in the parts2clean expert forum is free for trade fair visitors.
