Automation doesn't have to be complicated - with RobotCtrl, it becomes more accessible for companies of all sizes. Thanks to igus's intuitive control software, robots available on the online robotics marketplace RBTX can be operated uniformly regardless of the manufacturer, and accessories such as cameras, grippers, or robot cells can be integrated. This significantly reduces the operational complexity and integration effort for beginners and professionals alike. New support has been added for the robotics manufacturers Lebai, Hitbot, and Lynx Motion.

As a leading marketplace for robotics and automation, RBTX brings together over 175 providers and more than 850 robots and components in one place. Whether grippers, sensors, or complete robotic systems - interested parties can find everything they need for their automation here. With the RobotCtrl developed by igus, the integration and control of low-cost automation is now more flexible and easier than ever before. Robots available on RBTX can be programmed and controlled uniformly with the software.

Users benefit from a reduced onboarding time, as they only need to master a single software. The ability to program robots from various manufacturers with just one control not only saves time and training costs but also opens up new opportunities for a manufacturer-independent automation strategy. Thanks to its modular design, RobotCtrl supports various robot kinematics from different manufacturers, including igus, Fanuc, KUKA, and many more. This allows for seamless integration of different robotic systems into existing production and automation solutions. The movements of the robots can be simulated on a 3D surface - without the robot needing to be physically connected. 'This facilitates the planning and development of new processes and allows automation strategies to be efficiently tested before being implemented in practice,' emphasizes Alexander Mühlens, Head of the Low-Cost Automation Division at igus. 'This enables companies to respond more quickly to market demands, streamline production processes, and save costs.'

Robot Programming Made Easy

RobotCtrl has already been successfully tested with leading manufacturers. Users can thus be assured that they are working with a proven and reliable software. Another advantage of RobotCtrl is the user-friendly graphical interface that allows for intuitive programming. Thanks to a drag-and-drop function, movement sequences can be easily created and adjusted. This reduces programming effort and makes the software easily understandable even for users without in-depth programming knowledge. Especially for small and medium-sized enterprises that have previously shied away from the complexity of robotics, RobotCtrl offers a practical and cost-effective solution. 'Our goal is to make automation as simple and accessible as possible,' highlights Alexander Mühlens. 'With RobotCtrl, we enable companies of all sizes to have a cost-effective and flexible entry into automation.'
