Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller, Chair of the Board of TRUMPF, stated during the presentation of the balance sheet: 'The hard work we have done in the company regarding necessary cost reductions and the restructuring of our portfolio is showing results. In particular, the increased order intake makes us optimistic for the current fiscal year, in which we expect further growth. Despite the necessary caution given the global crisis hotspots and trade policy restrictions, we anticipate an economic turnaround in our business. The positive trend of the past fiscal year has clearly been confirmed in the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2026/27.'

These include topics such as electromobility, semiconductors, and power electronics, as well as manufacturing technologies for equipping data centers, smart factory solutions, and services in the machine tool sector. Another future field is humanoid robotics. 'Overall, it is expected that our customers will renew their machine parks after a longer period of restraint and will also utilize our offerings in the area of connected manufacturing.'
