At the Industry Stage, the Application Stage, and the Technology Stage, current applications, technological developments, and current meta and future topics of Additive Manufacturing will be discussed. The Call for Speakers starts immediately and offers leading production experts the opportunity to share their knowledge and innovations with the international AM community.

The multistage conference program is open to all trade fair visitors and thus promotes the exchange of technologies and application knowledge within the world of 3D printing. The stage program addresses the most important goals of the Formnext visitors: expanding expertise, providing inspiration for applications, and successfully networking. 'The multistage program of Formnext is an integral part of the leading AM trade fair in Frankfurt. It ensures that knowledge about Additive Manufacturing spreads even further, ultimately creating a stronger use of generative processes and new applications,' explains Christoph Stüker, Vice President Formnext, Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. Thematically, Formnext sharpens the program further this year. It will focus even more on the topics that visitors rated as particularly relevant in last year's visitor survey; these include, for example, Design for AM, new products, technologies and business cases, automation, AM services, occupational safety in handling AM, bioprinting, as well as startups and financing or sustainability.

Cross-industry innovations and technological trends in focus

Organized into thematic blocks, experts and users will present exciting and forward-looking solutions from various industries at the Application Stage: ranging from architecture or automation to medical and dental technology, as well as the automotive industry, electrical engineering, and tool and mold making. Thematic focuses will also be on this year's focus topics of Formnext: aerospace, jewelry and watches, as well as machine and plant engineering. The aerospace sector is not only one of the most important application areas of Additive Manufacturing but also an indispensable pillar for the further development of this innovative technology. The number of additively manufactured components in airplanes is steadily increasing each year, and the construction of rockets or satellites is now unthinkable without Additive Manufacturing. While machine and plant engineering utilizes the innovative potential of Additive Manufacturing to further improve machines, the jewelry and watch sector has developed into an exciting niche where 3D printing creates new trends or makes the production of luxury items more efficient.

At the Industry Stage, entrepreneurs, experts, and industry representatives discuss current overarching issues and aspects of the industry such as sustainability and the industrialization of AM. Relevant topics also include startups, investment and financing, standards and qualification, as well as further education, personnel, and young talent. In addition, the significance of Artificial Intelligence in Additive Manufacturing will be one of the focuses at the Industry Stage, which is reflected in the areas of data management and cybersecurity, design for AM, as well as AI and the industrial metaverse.

The services and solutions of interested Formnext exhibitors will be presented on the Technology Stage. Every day of the fair, innovations from the areas along the AM process chain will be presented and discussed here.

Participation opportunities for speakers

With their presentation, experts can present themselves to the international audience of Formnext 2025 and thus have another chance to shape the world of Additive Manufacturing. 'The presentations provide a top-notch platform for knowledge transfer, positioning as an industry expert, as well as valuable networking and business opportunities,' explains Sascha F. Wenzler, Vice President Formnext, Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

The Call for Speakers for the Industry Stage and the Application Stage is open now until the end of June.
