The Powder Solutions Division is part of the Sandvik Manufacturing and Machining Solutions business area, which is part of the global Sandvik Group. This division includes renowned brands such as Wolfram and Buffalo Tungsten as well as the Osprey® product line. Additionally, David Goulbourne will also take on the role of chairman of Wolfram Mining and Processing AG.
With nearly 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and a strong entrepreneurial mindset, David Goulbourne brings valuable expertise to his new role. Prior to his appointment, he served as Vice President Business Unit Solid Round Tools at Sandvik Coromant.

My focus will be on ensuring that customer benefit remains our top priority by continuously developing more sustainable processes and high-quality powder solutions, says David Goulbourne.
David Goulbourne succeeds Alex Nieuwpoort, who has decided to retire after 28 years of dedicated work and significant contributions to the growth and business development of Sandvik. Alex Nieuwpoort will remain at Sandvik until the end of June.
