The Koreans are investing in the South Korean robotics automation company Neuromeka and will enter into a strategic partnership with it. Together, the companies plan to develop next-generation control systems for automation solutions.
DN Solutions is strategically expanding its business area beyond machine tools to the entire manufacturing process. The ecosystem of DN Solutions integrates machine tools, connected automation solutions, and essential manufacturing software, complemented by collaborative robots, autonomous mobile robots (AMR), and AI-driven technologies that support companies in building smart factories.
As part of its long-term strategy, DN Solutions has already invested in Moduleworks, a German CAD/CAM software developer for machine tools, in 2023 and in Carbon Black, a Korean-American artificial intelligence (AI) company, in 2024. The partnership with Neuromeka continues this strategy.
Neuromeka's automation solutions help address industry challenges such as labor shortages and rising costs. They enable the feeding of heavy workpieces into machine tools and the transport of finished workpieces to the next process step without human labor. This keeps operations running even at night and on holidays, significantly increasing production efficiency.
DN Solutions offers a diverse portfolio of automation solutions, including pallet change systems, bar loaders, gantry loader systems, and automatic workpiece changers. These solutions interact seamlessly with machine tools and create optimized automated manufacturing systems for various industries. The automation solutions are supported by customized software.
The global market for robotic automation is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12%, which corresponds to growth from 15.8 billion euros (22.49 trillion Korean won) to 43.6 billion euros (61.88 trillion Korean won) by 2032.
