The ISF (Institute for Machining Manufacturing) under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h. c. K. Weinert is one of the leading German research institutions in the field of machining manufacturing. All relevant manufacturing processes are considered both fundamentally and application-oriented. Furthermore, the IT support of manufacturing processes through modern methods (CAM/CAE, simulation) is the focus of the tasks.
