The company GFMesstechnik GmbH (GFM) was founded in 1995. Its economic activity includes the development, construction, and distribution of optical 3D measurement and inspection systems as well as the associated measurement and user software.
The optical 3D measurement technology from GFMesstechnik stands for computer-based surface measurement devices and software for non-destructive optical measurement and testing methods. The advantage of these measurement methods lies in the contactless and highly accurate capture of the surface and geometry. Active (stripe projection) and passive (photogrammetry) triangulation as well as interferometry are used.
The main application areas of our computer-based optical measurement systems include, among others, the tool industry (cutting tools), machine and vehicle construction, the cosmetics industry and medicine, the paper, plastic, and printing industries, criminalistics, the glass industry, and various research institutions in industry and academia.
