With a new portal solution for the MAK 4 Evolution UD, Schröder automates loading and unloading as well as referencing, enabling unmanned production. From October 20 to 23, 2026, the company will showcase this and other highlights from its range of sheet metal processing machines at booth A48 in Hall 11 of the Hannover Messe.
Bending machines with a bidirectional bending arm and the Advanced Handling System (AHS), a rotating suction plate stop, automatically process complete bending programs. With the newly presented portal solution, the loading of the cut parts from pallets is automated. The cut parts are measured optically, eliminating the need for further referencing. Unloading is also automated, allowing for selection between different palletizing options via software. Schröder thus offers the possibility of unmanned production. Programming is done via the machine control, no robot is required, and manual operation remains possible at all times.
PowerBend Industrial
With the PowerBend Industrial UD 3200/6.0, Schröder presents a powerful bending machine for steel sheets up to 6 mm thick. These do not need to be laboriously turned for counter bends, as the machine bends from both the bottom and the top. The upper arm stroke of 850 mm provides ample space for deep workpieces. With POS 3000 3D graphic control, suction plate stop, and radius-step-bending function, the PowerBend Industrial UD offers strong performance for demanding industrial bending processes. To save auxiliary times, bending programs for the machine can also be created on a PC during work preparation.
Proven solutions for bending and cutting
The popular motorized bending machine PowerBend Professional must not be missed. This time at EuroBLECH, it will be showcased with an up-and-down bending arm and a rotating upper arm, offering two tool stations, hydraulic tool clamping, and a pressing function for producing flanges in one step. As a representative of the sheet metal shears, the manufacturer will present its PDC Power-Duo-Cut NC 3200/3.0 at the trade fair stand. It features the NC positioning stop Classic Cut as well as a pneumatically controlled sheet lifting device with a sheet chute and a motorized cutting gap adjustment for material-appropriate cuts. In continuous operation, it achieves 34 strokes per minute.
"In addition to their stability and repeat accuracy, our machines are also appreciated for their ease of use, which facilitates flexible utilization with changing batch sizes. Unmissable at this year's trade fair stand: The portal for automatic loading and unloading at a MAK 4 Evolution UD. With this, we show at EuroBLECH that full automation up to unmanned production can also be realized without the use of a robot. Especially for larger orders, the machine can be highly utilized over longer periods," says Markus Hibler, Managing Director of Hans Schröder Maschinenbau GmbH.
